Two teenagers are dead and multiple others are injured from a shooting in North Houston.
Houston Police say the shooting happened just before 11:30 Saturday night at a ‘pop-up club’ off Jensen Drive and Topping Street. Officers arrived at an empty business that had been overrun by mostly teenagers having some type of party.
At least five people were shot including two fatally. The victims are a 16-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl. The girl was taken to Texas Children’s Hospital where she later died. A 13-year old is in critical condition after being shot.
Police are asking people who attended the event to contact them so they can collect evidence. Anyone with information about the shooting, a suspect or a vehicle description is also asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
