A Rochester man accused of attacking his girlfriend with a machete has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
54-year-old David Lampman pleaded guilty to attempted murder and assault in October.
Prosecutors say he viciously attacked Tina Schreib at the home they shared on Dewey Avenue in April.
Schreib lost half her arm in the attack, among other injuries.
