Selena Gomez is engaged to Benny Blanco after dating for more than a year, and the music producer proposed to the singer/actress/producer with a gorgeous marquise diamond ring — but it seems Gomez predicted her engagement ring nearly ten years ago!
In 2015, Selena released her song "Good for You" featuring A$AP Rocky, and in the song, she sings, "I'm on my marquise diamonds/ I'm a marquise diamond/ Could even make that Tiffany jealous." Cut to 2024, and Gomez really is on her marquise diamonds, as her engagement ring features a large solitaire marquise diamond on a sparkling diamond band.
And the song, is from her album, Revival, which includes production from her now-fiancé, Benny Blanco, on her hit "Kill Em with Kindness."
Selena shared news of her engagement to Blanco, sharing a closeup photo of her beautiful diamond engagement ring, and a photo from the proposal, which seemed to include a picnic with Selena's favorite, Taco Bell. She also shared a photo of Benny wrapping her up in his arms as she smiles big while flashing her new ring. Gomez captioned the post, "forever begins now."
And as her future husband, Benny also commented on the post, writing, "Hey wait… that’s my wife."
