Homeschool & Christian School Graduates Far More Likely To Keep Their Faith

There's a new study that found that homeschool and Christian school graduates are far more likely to keep their faith into adulthood.

"Schooling absolutely has a strong secularizing affect on children" said Joy Pullman, author and writer for The Federalist.

The study was conducted by Cardus USA.

"Consistently, graduates from protestant Christian schools, and from homeschooling have better outcomes in the faith formation domains" said Dr. Lynn Swaner, president of Cardus U.S.

Almost 30% greater, compared to those who went to other schools.

"That includes things like believing in God and life after death" Dr. Swaner told KTRH, "Prayer and Bible reading, going to church, and that they regularly feel God's presence. And also, in terms of their values, they agree that it's important for parents to teach their children about religion."

Joy Pullman also pointed out in her column, that faith-based kids are also more likely to have children, which is critical. At the moment, the U.S. birthrate is at it's lowest ever.
