Even as the threat of a winter storm warning looms for much of West Michigan, ice skating at Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids will open tomorrow as scheduled.
At least, that's the plan so far. As it stands now an opening date of Dec. 5 remains, but the city has said the opening will depend ultimately on the weather, which if permitting, will mean the rink will be open for business tomorrow starting at 1 p.m.
The city had to delay the rink’s opening last year due to uncooperative weather.
