136 participating King Soopers and City Market stores across Colorado will come together for “The Big Ring” from 3 to 6 pm today (Dec. 4th). During this event associates will volunteer their time to take over the Salvation Army Red Kettles, marking the largest corporate bell-ringing event in the nation.
The Salvation Army has been a vital resource for individual and families in need, and this event aims to raise awareness and funds to help support their important work in our community.
The Salvation Army (TSA) annually helps nearly 24 million Americans overcome poverty, addiction, and economic hardships through a range of social services. By providing food for the hungry, emergency relief for disaster survivors, rehabilitation for those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, and clothing and shelter for people in need, The Salvation Army is doing the most good at nearly 7,000 centers of operation around the country.
