The Cavaliers blew out the Wizards 118-87 in the NBA Cup from Cleveland. Evan Mobley tied for a game-high 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double. Donovan Mitchell also recored 19 as seven players reached double figures. Jonas Valanciunas [[ YO-nahs vah-lahn-CHEW-nas ]] led Washington with 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double. Jordan Poole and Carlton Carrington also sunk 13 points. Both teams were eliminated from the tournament after Cleveland finished group play 2-and-2 while Washington went winless in four games.
