Berks County Burn Ban Lifted
(Berks County, PA) -- Berks County is no longer under a burn ban. The county allowed the one-month ban on open burning to expire on Monday. The ban was issued in response to an extensive drought in the fall. County officials are reminding residents to be responsible and use common sense when open burning.
