Madonna posed for an extremely rare family photo with her father and six children on Tuesday (December 2), all of whom she is extremely grateful for.
The "Material Girl" hitmaker kicked off the holiday season surrounded by loved ones, and commemorated endless memories with a singular photo featuring her beautiful family.
The snap in question features Madonna and her father, Silvio Ciccone, accompanied by children Lourdes, 28 (whom she shares with Carlos Leon), Rocco, 24 (whom she shares with ex Guy Ritchie), and adopted children David,19, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 12, per E!News.
The family is seen in stylish winter clothes including flannels, long coats, jean jackets, and furry hats. The "Like A Virgin" icon gave her loved ones a shoutout in the caption of the post, referring to time spent with them as "medicine for the soul."
"My Family has experienced many losses this year. My father has endured with Dignity. Watching him cry in the cemetery when we buried my brother Christopher -right after he lost his wife. Was a moment I will never forget. Spending time with him and all my children on Thanksgiving was Medicine for the Soul."
Madonna's brother, Christopher Ciccone passed away in October, only a few months after the death of her stepmother, Joan Ciccone.
