Soulja Boy Trolls Drake & Plies Over Their Recent Legal Filings

Recent events have shown that filing legal actions against fellow rappers is highly frowned upon, particularly with big names like Drake. Currently, Drake is taking legal steps against his own record label, UMG, as well as Spotify and iHeartRadio. This dispute involves Kendrick Lamar's track "Not Like Us," with Drake claiming that UMG and the streaming platform are unfairly inflating its streaming numbers. He is also accusing UMG of defamation for allowing harmful accusations to be included in a popular diss track.

In another legal move, rapper Plies has also been in the spotlight. He recently filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, Cardi B, and Soulja Boy, alleging that the beat of Soulja's song "Pretty Boy Swag" is too similar to his own 2008 hit "Me & My Goons." GloRilla is included in this lawsuit because she sampled Soulja's instrumental in her song "Wanna Be." Soulja Boy is known for being outspoken and isn’t afraid to confront his peers. Earlier this year, he made headlines over a dispute with Metro Boomin, and he hasn't held back in addressing Plies either, calling him broke and insisting his beat is original.

Drake, who has a complicated relationship with Soulja Boy, also threw some shade at him. In a playful nod to his past interview, he questioned if Drake would actually sue anyone, hinting at Plies' legal actions. It seems Drake may be facing a challenging situation, especially if he loses his ongoing case.
