Beginning on Black Friday, November 29, adoption fees at both the Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) and Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS), will be waived. This free adoption special will last through Sunday, December 1.
Hundreds of dogs and cats will be available at the JHS Adoption, Education & Pet Help Center and at ACPS. The community is invited to come out to both shelters and meet the wide variety of pets waiting for their new loving homes.

Friday, November 29, through Sunday, December 1 - 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
JHS is closed Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28.

ACPS is open Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
