A New York State couple is facing charges after an alleged incident of child abuse in Springfield Township.
Police called to a South Arlington Road Red Roof Inn Friday night and found an unresponsive one-year-old child and were able to restart her breathing through CPR.
The child was taken to a local hospital in critical condition with authorities noting bruising and other signs of severe trauma.
The child's father and that man's girlfriend have both been charged.
