CHUCK WOOLERY: Love Connection Host Dies at 83

Legendary game show host Chuck Woolery has died. He was 83.

TMZ confirmed reports that he died in his Texas home after having trouble breathing.

Woolery was the original host of Wheel of Fortune, from 1975 to 1981, and was also know for such game shows as Love Connection, Scrabble and Lingo.

Before his TV career, Woolery sang in the music group The Avante-Garde, which had a top 40 hit with “Naturally Stoned” in 1968.

He was inducted into the American TV Game Show Hall of Fame in 2007.
