Following the Florida Gators statement win vs the Ole Miss Rebels this past Saturday in the Swamp, Billy Napier and company secured another flipped commitment from 2025 four-star linebacker Ty Jackson, per On3.
The 6"1, 205 pound native of Loxahatchee, Florida had previously been committed to the USC Trojans since September.
Per On3 Recruiting rankings, Jackson is the nation's #135th ranked prospect, the #15th ranked linebacker, and #20th ranked Florida prospect in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
During Jackson's first three years in high school football, he totaled 378 tackles, 15 for loss, six sacks, five forced fumbles, four interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.
The Gator's 2025 recruiting class now consists of 16 total commits, ranking #19 nationally.
