(Linn County, IA) -- A new pilot program is being launched to encourage landlords in Linn County to rent to housing-challenged tenants.
Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust gifted $100,000 to the Alliance for Equitable Housing to fund the pilot program.
The funding will provide landlords cash incentives, risk mitigation money, and mediation services for signing one-year leases with housing-challenged tenants.
