Cher was madly in love with a well-known heartthrob she met at a birthday party in the early '80s whom she now refers to as the only celebrity who ever dumped her.
The 78-year-old "Believe" icon unveiled new details about her two-year relationship with actor Val Kilmer in a recent radio interview, reminiscing on how passionately she felt about the star when he said goodbye.
"Look, I was madly in love with Val Kilmer, and he left."
Cher, 14 years Kilmer's senior when they started dating in 1982, described their connection, citing age as a possible reason he called it quits.
"We became friends because we laughed at the same things constantly. He would sleep over and it was just a friendship. He would just go off and do his own thing and you just had to be prepared. And he was so beautiful. It went from madly in love and laughing hysterically to respecting each other's ability."
The standout also commented on why she chooses to go out with younger men, revealing that they are less "intimidated by older women."
"The truth was if I hadn't gone out with younger men, I would have never had a date. Younger men weren't intimidated by older women."
According to Parade Magazine, Cher is currently in a relationship with 38-year-old model, Alexander "AE" Edwards.
In addition to spilling the tea on her past relationships, the "After All' songstress just released part one of her long-awaited memoir, Cher: The Memoir, Part One and Part Two, which contains additional details about former partners including inside information on ex-husband Sonny Bono.
