McRibs Are Returning To McDonald’s With Big Jugs Of Sauce For Sale: For a limited time starting on December 3rd, the McRib sandwich is making a return to McDonald's menus nationwide. But unlike previous returns of the popular sandwich, this time half-gallon jugs of McRib sauce will be available for purchase online at WholeLottaMcRibSauce.com. The sandwich, first introduced in 1981, has become a cultural phenomenon with periodic limited-time appearances since being removed as a permanent menu item in 2005. This year, McDonald’s is embracing the sandwich’s legendary status with a special holiday-themed campaign, including a dedicated song.
