Cedar Springs officials say the first round of water testing came back clean, however a boil water advisory remains in effect until a second round of testing is completed.
The advisory was issued on Tuesday evening after an alarm system failure caused a drop in pressure in the water system.
The advisory is a precaution as no dangerous bacteria has been found in the water so far.
The second water sample was taken on Thursday and results are expected as early as Friday afternoon.
