Carly Pearce shared a few photos with Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Michael Bublé as the pair get ready to release a stunning holiday duet.
“Sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them. This collab fell into place so seamlessly it feels like fate had a hand in it. We’re so proud of this song! We hope you love it as much as we do,” Bublé wrote in the caption of a joint Instagram post he and Pearce shared on Wednesday evening (November 13). Pearce also shared the post on her Instagram story with a snippet of the unreleased ballad, “Maybe This Christmas.”
Bublé and Pearce previously teased “Maybe This Christmas” on social media, including when Bublé played a solo sneak peek with a guitar on Instagram last week. He said creating the song “was magical,” and Pearce commented that she “can’t wait” for listeners to hear it.
“I wrote a Christmas song for people that might not love Christmas because they’re hurting, because they’re vulnerable, because it’s a tough time for a lot of people,” Bublé said at that time. “I wanted to write something to give them hope.”
