Dalano Banton was big in the fourth quarter, he finished with 13 points and five assists and Toumani Camara added 11 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.
The game was tied entering the fourth quarter, but Portland (5-8) took control of the game with a 13-2 run pushing their lead to 89-78 with 6:39 left. Minnesota (6-6) cut the deficit to five-points on a couple of occasions but never got over the hump.
It was the first time this season Portland has recorded back-to-back wins.
The Trail Blazers were +9 in points off turnovers and held the Timberwolves to just 7-of-39 shooting from beyond the arc.
Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 24 points on 10-of-25 shooting. He was 0-for-9 from three-point range.
