Hozier, whose real name is Andrew Hozier-Byrne, sat down with iHeartRadio where he explained how to correctly say his stage name. While some people may think the correct pronunciation is Hosier (like Hoosier) or give it a little zhuzh with the French-sounding Hozy-ay, the Irish singer-songwriter said it's actually pronounced like Hoze-ier. However, if you happen to say it wrong, the "Nobody's Soldier" artist said "you can be very much forgiven."

"It's not a common surname in Ireland," he said. "As far as I know, I don't think it's Irish. I thought it came from France, although I could be wrong about that."
