Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink was announced as the latest athlete to be featured in the upcoming 2025 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue on Tuesday (November 12).
Brink, 22, was seen modeling in a white cut-out bikini during her recent photoshoot in Boca Raton, Florida.
“I’ve always loved SI Swimsuit,” Brink said via SI Swimsuit's official website.
Brink averaged 7.5 points and 5.3 rebounds during her first 15 WNBA games before suffering a season-ending ACL tear in June. The former Stanford standout was selected by the Sparks at No. 2 overall in the WNBA Draft earlier this year.
Brink also represented the United States in the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Austria, wining gold alongside Cierra Burdick, Linnae Harper and Hailey Van Lith and finishing as the tournament's MVP. The 22-year-old was set to captain Team USA's 3x3 Olympic team prior to her injury.
Brink will be among several athletes featured in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue along with gymnast Suni Lee, track star Gabby Thomas, freestyle skier Eileen Gu and Rolex No. 1 overall women's golfer Nelly Korda.
“We are thrilled to launch our shoot season for the 2025 issue with an extraordinary lineup of powerful female athletes,” Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editor-in-chief MJ Day said in a statement obtained by the New York Post on November 7. “This remarkable group, featuring Olympic medalists, world champions, and record-holders, embodies the next generation of all-stars poised to transform the world of sports. They defy stereotypes and champion equality, inspiring young girls to envision themselves as both athletes and leaders. At SI Swimsuit, we’ve always celebrated the future of women, and there’s no better way to honor these remarkable achievements than by featuring them on the pages of our issue.”
