Congratulations to Bernard Snyder and Jo Cartwright, who just got married in Austin last week. It's in the news, because they're both in their late 90s. Jo is 96, and Bernard is 98.
He says he got up the nerve to ask her on a date a while back. Then they started having dinner together at their retirement home. Both are widowed and say they never expected to get married again. They just fell in love.
The wedding was last Friday in their retirement home's courtyard. Their kids got together to plan the whole thing.
