SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) -- The Sun Prairie Police Department says North Bird Street has been reopened between Windsor Street and Saint Albert the Great Drive after a deadly crash.
It was first reported at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday that a car had struck someone sitting in the roadway.
Police said the person was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle wasn't hurt and is cooperating with investigators.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting Sun Prairie police with the investigation.
