2 Years Later Adidas and Kanye West Settle

After two years Adidas CEO, Brjon Gulden and Kanye West have thrown in the towel. With no clear victors both parties have decided to settle and "move on". Adidas shared yesterday, Tuesday that a resolution has been made; with no parties receiving funds awarded from lawsuit outcome. With the settlement being made outside the courtroom the Germany based company saw no reason to continue to fight.

In October 2022, Adidas made the bold move to cut ties with Kanye after a boycott was sparked by his antisemitic remarks. The company braced for a $200 million hit in net income from this decision.

“There isn’t any more open issues, and there is no… money going either way, and we both move on,” CEO Bjorn Gulden told reporters on a conference call, declining to give further details of the deal. Ye and Gordon both withdrew their lawsuits.
