When it comes to baby names, trends come and go, but some names are timeless classics that stay popular year after year. Baby Center’s latest report on the top 10 names for 2024 proves this, as almost every name from last year’s list is still going strong today! 📈✨
The list is based on the popularity of names among Baby Center users, as the official U.S. Government list of popular baby names won’t be out until next year. So, what are the top names of 2024? Let’s dive in! 🏊♂️

While the top seven boy names remain unchanged from 2023, there are some new rankings in the bottom three. Asher is back at number nine after a year away, Ezra climbed one spot to number eight, and Leo is down two spots to number 10. 📉📈
Further down the list, some longtime favorites have dropped out of the top 100 for the first time in decades. Sarah, a classic name, is now at 108, marking its first exit from the top 100 in 60 years. Other names like Kayden (101), Dominic (113), and Aaron (120) for boys, and Eva (105) and Jasmine (122) for girls, have also seen a decline. 📉
