Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Houston this Friday to campaign with U.S. Rep. Colin Allred. Allred is a Dallas Democrat challenging Republican U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz for his seat. The rally will mark the first time Harris and Allred have appeared together on the campaign trail. It will also be Harris's first Texas visit since she secured the Democratic presidential nomination in August. The Democratic National Committee says the rally is scheduled for some time between 3 and 8 p.m. Friday, but the location hasn't yet been announced.
