Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo made sure to have each other's backs while filming Wicked, and even had a "pact" in place to ensure there was no drama between them.

While speaking to Scott Evans on his House Guest series on YouTube, Erivo revealed that she and Grande, whom she called "one of the most intelligent and brilliant people when it comes to music," made a pact to prevent any drama as they filmed the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of the beloved musical, per Page Six.

"Neither one of us wanted that," she said. "We both came into this with the decision that we would do this together as honestly as we possibly could," she said.

Their pact reportedly also included sticking up for each other and backing the other up whenever it came to dealing with the film's production and making a stand for certain decisions.

"She and I were like, we have to work together. So, on the days when we need to say a couple of nos, we take turns. 'You say no sometimes. I say no sometimes.' We built like a real partnership... between the two of us."

Their bond has seemed to last far past filming, with the "We Can't Be Friends" singer and the Tony Award winner excitedly catching up at events like the Academy Awards and on the carpet of the Met Gala.

Wicked arrives in theaters November 22.
