Katt Williams Told SZA She Was Mentally Ill

Katt Williams reportedly told SZA she is "mentally ill" after they met on the set of a recent movie. SZA shared this story while talking with Kendrick Lamar for a new feature in Harper's Bazaar published on Monday. She mentioned, "We filmed a movie last night. It was my first time, and I was really nervous. I was scared to be myself. I might just pretend it didn’t happen or skip the premiere. When I met Katt Williams on set, he said I was mentally ill, but in a nice way. He said, 'Sa, I think you might have some mental—' and I responded, 'Illness?' He confirmed it and welcomed me." Later in the interview, SZA asked Lamar about his hit song "Not Like Us," which was aimed at Drake. Lamar explained, "'Not like us' represents who I am and the type of man I stand for. If you connect with that man, he has strong morals and values. He believes in something and is not afraid to admit his mistakes. He can face his fears and share his experiences without feeling less of a man. When I think of 'Not Like Us,' I think of myself and anyone who feels the same."
