Last month, Cardi B and Offset had a major argument. Cardi had just welcomed their third child while going through a divorce and openly criticized Offset during an intense Instagram Live session. In response, he accused her of cheating during her pregnancy. Now, Cardi seems to want to avoid any conflict. This week on Twitter Spaces, she expressed her desire to focus on her career and her children. She shared, “Life has been really weird. I’m single and having fun, but I feel like I need to stop because I don’t want it to interfere with my work. I’m careful about who I spend my time with. I just want peace.”
She added, “A couple of weeks ago, things were really tense, but now they’re settling down. I don’t want to argue with anyone I care about. After all the divorce issues, I want peace and friendship. I aim for a healthy co-parenting situation, which means no flirting or other distractions. I want to be like my parents; they don’t interact much, but they are there for me and my sister.”
