Iowa Burn Bans Expanding

(Des Moines, IA) -- Approximately one-third of Iowa counties are now under burn bans due to dry, windy condition. The Iowa State Fire Marshal's Office says the following counties are on the burn ban list as of Friday at 2 p.m.

Adair, Audubon, Benton, Buchanan, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Cerro Gordo, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Clinton, Crawford, Delaware, Dubuque, Emmet, Floyd, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hancock, Hardin, Harrison, Howard, Iowa, Jasper, Lyon, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, Osceola, Plymouth, Poweshiek, Shelby, Sioux, Webster, Winneshiek, Webster, and Wright.
