Creighton Law School is getting the largest gift in its 120 year history.
The school received nine-point-seven million dollars in funding for students, faculty, and programs. The donation comes from the estate of James Menehan, a Creighton alumni who worked as an attorney in Madison before retirement.
He first started making annual donations to Creighton in 1988, and died last year at the age of 85 in Monroe.
