Town officials in Barnstable say there will be a single-lane closure along eastbound Falmouth Road today.
The closure in the area of the Phinney's Lane intersection is needed so crews can install telecommunication cables.
The work will be taking place from 9:00 a.m. until around 3:00 p.m. and there will be traffic control on site.
Residents and commuters are urged to use caution in the area while the work is underway.
