Kelsea Ballerini walked the red carpet in a dazzling golden, fish scale-patterned gown as she and her boyfriend, Outer Banks star Chase Stokes, attended the premiere of the upcoming ABC drama, Doctor Odyssey. Fittingly, Ballerini paired her look with a small purse that resembled a goldfish in a fish bowl.
Ballerini confirmed earlier this week that she’ll appear in Doctor Odyssey as a guest star. She said as she shared the trailer that she “spent the last few weeks literally screaming crying and throwing up in the dramatic, fabulous world of [Doctor Odyssey] and crossing guest star off the bucket list.” Ballerini promised “more soon on my episode and obsession with the utterly lovely kind and brilliant cast.”
The Doctor Odyssey cast includes Joshua Jackson, Don Johnson and Phillipa Soo, among others. Jackson plays “the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship where the small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore,” per IMDb. It wasn’t immediately clear which episode Ballerini would make her appearance in the series. Other stars appearing in the series include Shania Twain, John Stamos and more. Doctor Odyssey will premiere on ABC and Hulu on Thursday, September 26.
