Per AP, Judge Andrew Carter ruled against bail for Diddy claiming that Combs' plan was "insufficient" to ensure the "safety of the community and the integrity of the case." Combs' proposal for bail included $50 million bail, GPS monitoring, and strict limitations on visitors to his Florida mansion. He will instead stay in the Brooklyn federal jail. Judge Carter agreed with prosecutors that his release would mean risking Combs threatening or harming witnesses. This ruling comes after Combs' initial bail request on Tuesday, which was denied by a federal magistrate.
Diddy's lawyer says he will be asking the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn the ruling and release Diddy. He also wants Diddy moved from Brooklyn to a jail in New Jersey.
