  • Before he died, James Earl Jones handed over the rights to recreate his iconic voice to AI. 
  • Forbes states, "James Earl Jones signed over the rights to Lucasfilm in 2022 to recreate his voice via artificial intelligence thanks to AI innovation by Ukrainian tech start-up Respeecher."
  • They add that this was to ensure that his "Star Wars" Darth Vader character would live on forever.
  • The actor was also the voice of Mufasa in "The Lion King."
