An Uber Driver Threw a Brick at Someone's House Over a One-Star Review
A few one-star reviews can ruin an Uber driver's rating. So don't do it unless they're really a psycho. Like this guy . . .
An Uber driver in Chicago threw a BRICK at someone's house after they gave him a one-star review last weekend.
A 17-year-old kid ordered an Uber to take him to the mall on Friday. He says the driver seemed agitated, drove erratically, and took a longer route than necessary. The kid asked him to take the highway, but he took surface roads instead.
He gave the guy a one-star review after he got dropped off, and that was the end of it . . . until the next day when the driver showed back up at his house.
The kid's mom went to the door, but didn't open it because she didn't know who the guy was. He claimed her son left something in his car, and he just wanted to return it. But when she wouldn't let him in, he got aggressive.
He started shouting about the one-star review . . . picked up a brick from their yard . . . threw it at their window . . . and also threw it at their car.
It cracked the window and broke the frame. Their car was also left with a pretty significant dent.
Police say they're investigating, but no word on charges yet. Uber say they'll assist however they can and "take appropriate action" with the driver.
