Hostess Halloween Lineup Includes ‘Spooky Twinkies’ And ‘Frankencakes’
Halloween is still a couple of months away, but Hostess is getting in on the holiday a little early to offer some ‘spooky’ snacks to customers beginning in September. Here’s a preview of what’s coming:
- Hostess Spooky Twinkies – classic fluffy cake with crème filling for a Halloween treat.
- NEW Hostess Frankencakes – soft yellow cake and crème filling that’s topped with green icing and The Original Squiggle for a spooky and sweet offering.
- Hostess ScaryCakes – soft chocolate cake with crème filling with orange icing and The Original Squiggle for a seasonal snack.
The Halloween-inspired treats are available in mutilpack, new family-sized Trick-or-Treat Packs with Halloween-themed wrapping, and single-serve options and will be available at stores starting in September.

Burger King Partners With Walmart For Customer Deal
Burger King has partnered with Walmart to provide an exclusive dining benefit for its Walmart + members. According to a press release, starting in September members will get 25% off any Burger King digital order every day and can also receive a free Whopper every three months with any purchase.
Venessa Yates, SVP and general manager of Walmart + said “We consistently strive to offer benefits that focus on our members, aligning with our commitment to deliver undeniable value and convenience. We’re confident our members will welcome the additional savings, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with a trusted brand like Burger King to offer this benefit.”
To redeem the benefit, Walmart + members can go to the BK app or bk.com and link their existing Burger King Royal Perks account or create one for free. Then, you can visit the offers tab on the app or the website, select a Burger King location, add the desired offer to your cart, and place your order.
