Armed Man Filmed Confronting Florida Driver During Road Rage Incident

Port St. Lucie, FL - A Port St. Lucie man has been arrested following a dangerous road rage incident where he allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened another driver.

Police say the arrest occurred on Tuesday when the suspect, identified as 63-year-old Paul Slane, was driving his black Mercedes in Port St. Lucie.

According to authorities, Slane's vehicle cut off another truck, prompting a confrontation between Slane and the occupants of the truck.

In a video of the incident, Slane can be seen exiting his Mercedes and approaching the truck with a gun in his hand.

He yelled at the truck's occupants to get out of the car and threatened to shoot them.

The truck's driver, who also appeared to be armed, confronted Slane and said, "You were the one that started it."

Slane then reached into the truck and tried to grab the woman's phone, saying, "Give me the [expletive] phone."

He also told the woman she would be arrested.

Slane eventually walked back to his Mercedes and drove away.

Police arrested Slane on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, attempted armed robbery, and simple battery.
