Palm Bay, FL - A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a 23-year-old man Tuesday night.

The crash occurred around 8:35 p.m. at the intersection of Capeador Street NW and Nadell Street NW.

According to Palm Bay police, the victim, identified as Nathaniel Soueidan, was found deceased on the sidewalk.

Initial investigations revealed that the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the collision.

However, the vehicle later returned, but discrepancies in the driver's account led to further investigation.

Police determined that the actual driver was the 17-year-old son, Tyler Sabdull, while his father, 37-year-old Narrian Sabdull, initially claimed responsibility.

Evidence from the vehicle indicated the car was traveling at approximately 94 mph at the time of the crash.

Tyler Sabdull faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident with death and vehicular manslaughter. His father is charged with providing false information at a crash scene.

Police Chief Mario Augello expressed deep concern over the incident and pledged a thorough investigation.
