From now through August 10th, Target is hosting its inaugural “Denim Take Back Event,” where customers can recycle their old denim items in exchange for a 20% discount on new denim purchases through Target Circle.
Customers can drop off up to five denim items, regardless of their condition, at designated in-store collection boxes to receive a promo code for the discount. This initiative, inspired by the success of Target’s Car Seat Trade-in Program, underscores the company’s commitment to sustainability and waste reduction.
In addition to promoting environmental friendliness, the Denim Take Back Event aims to make back-to-school shopping more affordable for those on a budget.
