YouTube is now enforcing a controversial policy targeting firearms content, forcing years' worth of videos to be removed by pro-gun YouTubers. The new policy bans any video sponsored by a firearm company or even a firearm accessory company.

Popular firearms content creator Hickok45 joined his son and said, "Any videos posted with sponsorships of that kind, post-June 16th, makes your video subject to being terminated."

They then shared their disappointment with the policy, saying they've already deleted years' worth of content from their channel. They said, "These videos take on a life of their own and become this whole ecosystem of comments and everything. Even how many views they got becomes its own little stamp in time."

The duo did say in a later video that they think they can navigate around the policy for future videos, and they're grateful for platforms like Rumble that provide an alternative to YouTube.
