Blumenthal Bill Would Protect Warehouse Workers

Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal will appear outside an Amazon fulfillment center today to demand new protections for warehouse workers.

Blumenthal will also announce the Warehouse Worker Protection Act during the appearance outside the Amazon facility on Kennedy Road in Windsor.

The bill would prohibit or strictly regulate quotas in warehouses that he says lead to injuries, as workers rush to meet reckless performance expectations.
