(Moline, IL) -- Salaried employees at John Deere appear to be the latest workers the company is targeting for layoffs.
Several Deere employees in an online forum say they received a letter from the company stating salaried employee layoffs are coming next Wednesday.
Deere confirmed to WQAD News 8 late last month that salaried layoffs were coming.
The Quad Cities-based agricultural equipment manufacturer has laid off over 1,500 production workers so far this year.
