If you can deep fry it, you’ll find it at some state fair or carnival in the United States. This year, the Minnesota State Fair is breaking new ground in the deep-frying game by introducing “deep-fried ranch dressing.” To make their creation, ranch seasoning, buttermilk, and cream cheese are coated with a panko shell, and then deep-fried. From there, ranch powder is added to give that extra punch of ranch-iness. This is one of 33 new foods that’ll be offered at the Minnesota State Fair.
