Luke Martin and Marie Munoz, two seniors from Bishop Gorman, are getting ready to make their Broadway debuts on Monday. This is part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, also referred to as the Jimmy Awards. This past May, Martin and Munoz competed at the Nevada High School Musical Theater against dozens of other students all across the state. A panel of judges, including Las Vegas anchor Justin Hinton, then voted them best actor and actress. While in New York, they had a lot of rehearsals for the show, but they also made time to have some fun, including seeing the dress rehearsal for the Tony Awards and even getting to go to the award ceremony itself.
