Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival Cancels Balloon Glow

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival is cancelling tomorrow night's Balloon Glow, due to possible strong storms. The Eastern Iowa Arts Academy will move to the VOLTA Music Festival to the Ideal Theater, at 213 16th Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, starting at 12 p.m.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our sponsors, volunteers, and participants for their hard work and dedication in preparing for this event,” says Executive Director, Karol Shepherd. “While we are unable to reschedule the Balloon Glow event this year, we are committed to bringing you other exciting and safe events over the next couple weeks. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.”
