Rhode Island has joined the U.S. Department of Justice and 29 other states in filing an antitrust lawsuit against Live Nation Entertainment, which is the parent company of Ticketmaster.
The lawsuit alleges that Live Nation has illegally monopolized the live entertainment industry and taken part in anti-competitive conduct.
Live Nation and Ticketmaster have a substantial presence in Rhode Island.
