Jelly Roll is a man on a mission - and part of that mission has been accomplished.
With the calendar flipping to 2024, Jelly vowed to do something about his weight, which at one point had reached nearly 500 pounds. He hired a trainer, tried to eat better, and the weight started dropping off. There was, however, another facet of the "get in shape" theme. JR was challenged by comedians Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura to finish a 5K - a challenge Jelly accepted, and started working out for.
Tuesday, the singer participated in the "2 Bears 5K" - and made it to the finish line. Wife Bunnie XO, who also completed the 5K, jumped into an ice bath with Jelly afterwards in celebration. He told "Entertainment Tonight," "Whenever I started doing this, I couldn't walk a mile...the fact that we got 3, 3-point-whatever it was, done today, I feel really really good about it, and I left here feeling really motivated."
