This weekend we camped at the KOA Strafford . . .Friday night Dylan had baseball so we didn't get to camp until 9pm or so. We just sat by the fire and had a relaxing night.
Saturday was a fun day, a little cool out, but we still made the best of it. We met some great camper neighbors, ate a lot of mexican food, enjoyed some margaritas and had a fun time.
Sunday, was so rainy and cold! So we went to Smitty's in Sanford to bowl and do some arcades. Plus, went to Ocean State Job Lots and bought a great dress!
Monday we went home in the pouring rain, but was pleasantly suprised at how nice the weather turned out to be. We had a BBQ for my neice, Daphney and my nephew Jordan as it was both their birthdays this week.
Some days are long, some days are a struggle . . .camping without Jeff is a challenge. It makes me sad to be in my happy place without him. People keep telling me that time heals. . . . time seems to make me sadder. The times I am alone in my thoughts, the times I sit by the fire and wish I had my buddy with me . . .time is brutal and empty. Time is supposed to heal . . . .
